Gracie Touchet Doré
St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 1 p.m., on Saturday, December 18, 2010, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Gracie Touchet Doré, 66, who passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at her residence.
Entombment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville.
Msgr. J. Douglas Courville will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures were read by Tracy Pellerin and Barry Sons, and gift bearers were Danielle Renée Pellerin Thibodeaux, Amber Ann Doré, and Raven Elizabeth Doré. Barry Sons will present her Eulogy.
Mrs. Doré was the former owner of Parkway Machine Services, along with John and Juanita Vail and her husband, the late Paul Doré, Jr. She was also the former owner and curator of Midway Trailer Park.
Survivors include her three sons, Kirt Andrew and his wife, Paulette Landry Doré of Broussard, Clint Anthony Doré and his companion, Tracy Pellerin of Lafayette, and Kevin Paul and his wife, Sandy Doré of Cade; one brother, Harold Touchet and his wife, Janet, of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Goldie Hebert and her husband, John Roger, of Cecilia, and Rita Girard of New Iberia; four grandchildren, Lance Michael Doré, Amber Ann Doré, Raven Elizabeth Doré, and Danielle Renée Pellerin Thibodeaux; and four great grandchildren, Brianna Nicole Doré; Brooksie Grace Doré, Jade Elizabeth Doré, and Lilly-Ann Renée Thibodeaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Doré, Jr.; her parents, Odeaus and Celelie Lasseigne Touchet; and her brother, Joseph Touchet.
Pallbearers were her three sons, Kirt, Clint, and Kevin Doré, Lance Doré, Tracy Pellerin, and Barry Sons.
