Roseburg, sprawled in a valley surrounded on all sides by mountains, has always been one of Terry's favorite places. Gerry has a niece who still lives in the area as does her family, and Terry has a cousin who lives here as well. We actually parked the RV in nearby Sutherlin at a Golf and RV resort, so we could play golf together. Gerry played a round by himself as well so that Terry and Laurie could have some time together. The Arts Festival was going on the weekend we were there and we walked through it twice, once with Carol and once with Laurie. Besides all the artists' vendor booths, the local dance troupe performed, as did a local German band, and other groups.
